After a relaxing midsummer hiatus, the long awaited return of AFITC is upon you as season five gets underway today. A busy first week of training camp saw the Leafs play four games in four nights. We’ll get you caught up on those four games to kick start the Redline Report. Phil Kessel to the Maple Leafs as Brian Burke made a big splash on Friday. Did the Leafs give up too much? We’ll address that as well as the comeback attempt of Jason Allison and the first round of training camp cuts.

Quick Hits continues the show with a look at another comeback attempt, the bizarre firing of NHLPA Executive Director Paul Kelly and an addition to the NHL on TSN broadcast team. On The Bubble follows with Listener Email featuring AFITC’s next great emailer, the Junior Hockey reports featuring the St. Michael’s Buzzers next great star and the Troubling Fact of the Week featuring the San Jose Sharks next great whiner.

And to conclude the show, Rigamarole looks at why there’s a lot to get excited about this year when it comes to the Toronto Maple Leafs. Keep the foot on the pedal and keep driving to that light. That light you see is the one at the end of the tunnel.
